FOR SALE: 12/19/09 - Beautiful '08 Appaloosa Mule Foal
The babies we raise go out to pasture with their mothers all summer. They learn to cross the river and creeks and build muscle and bone climbing the limestone hills. They see plenty of deer, wild turkeys, coyotes, raccoons etc. They also run with the cattle in their pastures and aren't afraid of cows. It's a great enviornment to raise foals in.

They get handled when they are born and learn to be haltered and tied as well as picking up their feet.

Boone was born in June of 2007. He is out of a quarter type mare. He was gelded as a yearling. He has been handled quite a bit, but is still green at halter. He has gotten all of his shots and is good with the farrier as long as his buddy is nearby. He is a very unique color. He is right at 14HH right now and will grow some more. I handle him out of my wheelchair and can pick up his feet with nothing on him while he is with the other horses. I am training a 3yr old AQHA gelding and don't have the time to work with this mule. He will make someone a great mule.
